With E.1 Mentor, you'll be matched with an experienced professional who can support you as you prepare for life after graduation. Through one-to-one conversations and personalised guidance, you'll gain valuable insights, fresh perspectives, and practical advice to help you move forward with confidence.

E.1 Mentor brings together students from higher education institutions in Esbjerg and mentors from local businesses and public organisations. The result is a unique opportunity to expand your network, learn from real-world experience, and take an important step towards your future career.

  • GUIDANCE TAILORED FOR YOU

    As a mentee, you and your mentor decide what to focus on, ensuring the programme is tailored to your goals and interests.

    Topics might include:

    • Career choices and job searching
    • Thesis, dissertation, or project work
    • Preparing for your first job after graduation
    • Personal and professional development
    • Further education opportunities
    • Your dream job – and how to get there

    The mentoring programme is flexible and tailored to your needs, giving you the opportunity to focus on the areas that matter the most to you and get the greatest value from the experience.

  • WHO CAN APPLY?

    E.1 Mentor is open to students enrolled in a professional bachelor's, bachelor's, or master's degree programme in Esbjerg.

    To get the most out of the programme, we recommend that you have between six months and two years remaining before completing your studies.

  • MORE THAN 1:1 MENTORING

    E.1 Mentor is about more than one-to-one mentoring. You'll also become part ofa community of students and professionals.

    Throughout the programme, you'll be invited to events such as:

    • Kick-Off Event
    • Mid-Programme Event
    • Closing Event

    These events give you the opportunity to expand your network, connect with fellow students, an meet professionals from local businesses and organisations.


WHO COULD BE YOUR MENTOR?

Since November 2020, E.1 Mentor has facilitated more than 360 succesful mentoring partnerships between students and professionals from the business community. Many participants say the programme has given them greater clarity about their future, increased confidence, and a stronger foundation for starting their careers.
