A Catalyst for Collaboration

Developed and operated by Education Esbjerg, the digital E.1 concept serves as the platform that connects curated education, business and community in one place - and is committed to shaping Esbjerg into a vibrant hub for studying, working, and living.

Education Esbjerg, established as an independent organization in January 2020, has its own board of directors and operates as a member-driven organisation, with support and contributions from Esbjerg Municipality, more than 250 partner companies and the city’s six institutions of higher education to date.

With a global outlook, strong ambitions, and a people-centered approach, Education Esbjerg and the E.1 concept are rethinking the role and structure of higher education. We are reshaping the future of education by facilitating new ways to create a safe and enriching student experience. Among many other initiatives, the organisation offers free events for students in Esbjerg and collaborates with the city’s higher education institutions and partner companies to provide innovative study and internship opportunities.

At the heart of it all is a learning environment that values curiosity, engagement, networking, community, and digital innovation – and above all, student well-being. That’s the foundation for a sustainable working life and long-term professional success.

Our VISION is through the E.1 concept to pursue young people to study, work, and settle in Esbjerg:
